Our Dogs

We are dedicated and aim to breeding Healthy, Quality, Happy dogs, True to Type, Fit for Function, with the best of Temperaments for a family pet.

We carry out, as many DNA test as we can on our dogs so they are clear genetically, from hereditary illness.

We have to confess it takes a lot of hard work dedication & much knowledge is required, and money.

Breeding dogs and only breeding from what has turned out correctly is costly as not every pup/dog will turn out to be breeding quality. We do and have spad many dogs that have not might our requirements, as a breeding dog.

In the beginning Our aim was to target & produce dogs that are as close the Kennel club breed standard.

Not an easy task to embark upon with dilute shar pei's as in the beginning, Quality was not there, so hard work with dedication Much time & effort & money was put into place. Here is where a decision was made at "RAINBODRAGON" To import quality dogs from other countries to help improve stock,and bloodlines.

This has taken some time but the outcomes have been rewarding, with us now having Pip that has qualified for crufts being the only blue shar pei and even beating several fawns in the ring. We are delighted too Our Dilutes.  They Stand on the required cat like foot, with the wonderful rather small ear, Held high on scull pointing forward toward eye rounded at tip with the desirable curl.We are now getting world attention for there quality with several dog going to several parts of the world!

"RAINBODRAGON" are proud to have untouched eyes on some of our shar pei pups and we are still working to remove entropion out of our shar pei lines.

"RAINBODRAGON"  have imported several French Bulldogs with new bloodlines and quality to this country. We now have a Irish Junior Champion and there are several up and coming Rainbodragon frenchie pups doing well in the show ring, testament to our dedication to the french bulldog breed and it's standard. We are also carrying out DNA tests for Hereditary Cataracts on our frenchie's. Boris and Louigi are both clear/normal and can not develop the disease or pass it on to off spring.

We offer also a one year guarantee on our (Shar-Pei)pups, There for if for any unforeseen circumstance one of our youngster passed over the rainbow Bridge from an, Hereditary disease confirmed by an autopsy. The pup will be replace with another from a different blood line or if we do not have a pup available within a six(6) month period, All monies would be refunded. This is done because there are not the tests needed in the shar pei breed and we want to know if there is a problem in our lines, as there clearly could be, due to no genetic tests available. When I first started in the Shar pei breed there were pups dieing and still are at very young ages with no explanation, I was not happy with this and I want to know why this is happening. So Annette has always provided a guarantee, so if ever a pup did sadly pass over the rainbow bridge, we would know why, with a full autopsy report and full clinical  history.

Endorsements are placed on all pups & at our sole discretion or by previous Agreement/contract

this may be lifted, but not before 18 months of age in keeping with club Rules & Regulations.

We Rescue all the dogs, breed by us if their owners no longer cannot cope due to unforeseen circumstances

We expect all pups to be house pets & live with families, So please be assured we toughly vet check all who are looking for a companion or family pet

Walking our dogs is our favorite pastime around our country side or in our 15acres of land.

They have warm kennels but more "home like" or live in our home, dogs are cared for 24/7 and loved.

Where they all enjoy being free to go into there run's or rest in bed at all times spending time in the home is great fun for all

"RAINBODRAGON" pups are well socialized, in our homes with other dogs and children. All are home reared & nearly fully house trained

Without doubt "I am a true animal lover" here on the farm we have, Horses and a Alpaca,pigs, geese,  chickens, donkey. This makes it easy to see all dogs & pups are happily socialized with all of our animals, with the best of temperaments.

Many people come to our farm & enjoy the day & truly love the time spent here. All adore our Dogs & Pups. We are happy for people to come over to see our dogs to see if they are the breed for them.
